Comments: The striking pattern of the walnut that forms the door of this display case was the inspiration for the design, which was created to showcase other unique art objects.

The hinges and latches are all made of wood, and even the door's handle is carved into the side of the cabinet.

The finish is wax over several coats of thinned shellac.
