Comments:  These matching bunk beds are fashioned from thick slabs of walnut, tough enough to withstand the wear and tear of a lifetime of use.

The rails on the lower end of each bunk bed also function as a ladder to the upper bunk, so one can climb right up the back and settle in for a deep sleep.

At the head of each bed, a large tray (not visible in the photo) allows room for a book or water glass, handy to the sleeper.

The bunks can also be disassembled to create four floor-height beds. A finish of three coats of urethane varnish protects the wood.
