Real Kitchens Have Curves:  As part of a kitchen remodelling project, the buffet cabinets in this circular dining room were completely replaced.

The new cabinets feature doors and drawers of curly maple veneer, each one laminated into a sweeping curve to fit the radius of the room.

Adjustable shelves both above and below, and eight drawers in the lower section, give plenty of room to spare for all the plates and utensils any hostess would ever need, hidden behind the sleek, simple exterior.

The finish is three coats of tough urethane varnish.
