Bookshelves and Entertainment Center

Comments:  To some people, the books and objects that are gathered over the course of a lifetime can become almost like good friends.

Our clients were two such people, and they wanted to surround their living area with the items that had become special to them. Together we designed this suite of bookshelves to store and display books, art and memorabilia from around the world.

At the center of the room, we provided a deeper unit to hold the television and stereo gear, with drawer space underneath for tapes and accessories.

         

Though the shelves are all free-standing rather than permanently built-in, they are custom fitted to the spaces within the room.
