Comments:   Birds are creatures of the air, so it makes sense to put a bird's home as close to the sky as possible.

We accomplished that by building a tall pedestal for this decorative birdcage, sized to fit the cage's base. We also thought to provide room for a few bottles of wine inside the pedestal, so that the owner's spirits can sometimes soar as well.

The wood is Black Walnut, with a clear finish.
